My first thought after seeing a commercial about getting your test levels checked was "awesome- anabolics from the doc!" which I know is BS and the product they're selling probably only works if you're watching porn all day when you're not lifting weights or killing things. My second thought was "wow- the symptoms: depression, moodiness, lack of motivation/low energy, weight gain/difficulty with loss, sexual disfunction... all sound a lot like vitamin-D deficiency." How do I know? I've been having all of the moodiness/motivation/weight loss issues even though I've been working out and eating a good diet. I had my doc check my vitamin-D and I'm still low, despite taking 10000 IU every day (yes, ten thousand units) for the past five weeks. So what's the recommendation? up the D intake, and pray for sun- seriously, that's what the doc said.
